When I first came to know about Academy One, I thought this is just another educational consulting firm. But I came to know that my application procedure was in right hands after I had a chat with them over phone. Now, that i have secured admission in one of the best universities (GeorgiaTech), i can rightly say that Academy One has helped me immensely to do so. Without their guidance and support the whole process would have been a lot more difficult. The first step in any application process is to know your strengths and weaknesses and Academy One helped me to introspect deeper into my own self. Once that was done, the next step was school selection which can be said as the most important part. It is essential to apply to right schools, the ones that complement your profile. As a person working long hours, having limited time for any procedures that needs to be carried out, I was under considerable stress and pressure. This was only compounded by the fact that I had just given the GRE and had no idea about the process for an admission to a US university.

UCI {University of California , Irvine} = Accept

RIT {Rochester Inst of tech} = Accept with partial Tuition fee waiver

Gatech = Conditional Accept

Auburn University = Accept

San Jose = Accept with partial Tuition fee waiver

IIT {Illinois Inst of Tech} = Reject

So out of 7 universities which I applied I got an accept from 6 of them. Academy One's counseling has been extremely good. They have been very helpful in not just university selection but also in the visa procedure.  

I will be pursuing my MS at ASU in Mechanical with specialization in Energy and Environmental Systems since my current project at IIT is on Solar and I have developed a strong liking towards it.
